Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Claims Operations Supervisor to lead daily operations within our claims department. This individual will play a key role in supervising claims staff, enhancing workflows, and ensuring timely and accurate claims handling in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards. This is a Hybrid position out of their Boston, MA office.
- Supervise a team of claims professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Monitor daily workloads and ensure timely and efficient processing of claims across all relevant lines.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and support implementation of new procedures, systems, or technologies.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including underwriting, compliance, and customer service, to resolve complex claim issues.
- Ensure claims are handled in alignment with best practices, internal standards, and state/federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5 – 7+ years of experience in claims handling or claims operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of claims processing procedures, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards.
- Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team development and process improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
- $90,000 to $105,000 annual based salary.
