Position Overview

Start Date: From September 2026. King's House School is seeking to appoint a part‑time teacher of LAMDA and drama club leader for two days a week (Tuesday and either Wednesday or Thursday). Peripatetic staff are self‑employed and pay an annual fee for room hire. They invoice parents directly for LAMDA lesson fees and are responsible for their own timetable. The Head of Drama will be your line manager.

Compensation Rates for the 2026‑27 academic year:

  • After‑school Drama Club – £27.50 per half hour
  • Group Lesson – £16 per half hour
  • Duo Lesson – £20 per half hour
  • Solo Lesson – £28 per half hour

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including DBS checks and references from previous employers, and must be aware of and adhere to the school's safeguarding policy and code of conduct. Child protection training will be provided.
