ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a creative and highly organised Graphic Designer to join our team and help shape the visual identity of a professional basketball club.
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging visual content across the club's digital and social media channels, helping bring the club, its players and its stories to life for fans.
Working closely with the Marketing, Media and Commercial teams, the successful candidate will produce creative assets supporting social media, ticketing campaigns, player announcements, matchdays, partnerships, community activity and wider club communications.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can combine strong creative ideas with the ability to turn around high-quality content quickly.
As part of a growing organisation, the role will also provide an opportunity to help establish the club's visual style and contribute to the development of its brand from an early stage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Social Media & Digital Content
- Design engaging graphics and visual content for the club's social media channels, including Instagram, X, Facebook, Tik Tok and Linked In.
- Create graphics for fixtures, results, game previews, player statistics, milestones, team news and other basketball-related content.
- Produce player signing, roster and announcement graphics.
- Develop creative content for ticket sales, memberships, promotions, competitions and fan engagement campaigns.
- Create templates and repeatable design assets that enable consistent and efficient content production throughout the season.
- Work with the Media and Marketing teams to develop creative concepts around players, games and club storytelling.
- Adapt designs appropriately for different digital platforms and formats.
- Matchday & Basketball Content
- Produce matchday graphics including game announcements, starting line-ups, player features, score updates and results.
- Create graphics and digital assets for arena screens and other matchday presentation requirements.
- Support the development of promotional materials for home games, special events and themed matchdays.
- Work with photography and video content to create compelling visual assets around the team and players.
- Be available to support time-sensitive content requirements around games where required.
- Marketing & Ticketing
- Design creative assets for marketing campaigns aimed at driving ticket sales, attendance and fan engagement.
- Produce digital advertising assets, email graphics, website banners and other marketing materials.
- Support the Ticketing and Marketing teams with promotional graphics for individual games, ticket offers, season tickets and group sales.
- Create print-ready artwork where required, including posters, flyers, signage and promotional materials.
- Brand & Creative
- Help establish and maintain a strong and consistent visual identity across all club communications.
- Ensure correct use of club logos, colours, typography and brand assets.
- Develop and maintain design templates and a structured library of creative assets.
- Help evolve the club's creative style while ensuring consistency across different channels.
- Ensure all artwork is produced to a high professional standard and meets relevant brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple creative requests and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commercial & Partnerships
- Create graphics and marketing assets supporting club sponsors and commercial partners.
- Produce partnership announcement graphics and sponsor activation content.
- Ensure sponsor branding and contractual assets are represented correctly across relevant creative materials.
- Support the Commercial team with presentation materials, proposals and other visual assets where required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Professional experience in graphic design, digital design or a similar creative role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital and social media design.
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of designing content specifically for social media and digital platforms.
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout, composition and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to work quickly and effectively while maintaining a high standard of creative output.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with marketing, media and commercial colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of creative projects.
Desirable
- Previous experience working within professional sport, entertainment, lifestyle or a fast-paced consumer brand.
- Experience creating basketball or sports-related content.
- Experience designing graphics for live events or arena screens.
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills, particularly using Adobe After Effects.
- Experience preparing artwork for print and large-format production.
- Experience working with sponsor and partnership branding.

The Graphic Designer will work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Media, Ticketing, Commercial and Basketball Operations and will play an important role in establishing a distinctive and consistent visual identity for the club.
