We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, full-time teacher of Art & Design in the junior school from September 2026. This is an outstanding opportunity for an able and motivated teacher to make a distinctive contribution to school life within our warm and dynamic community.
The primary focus for the successful candidate will be to teach Art to gifted and dedicated pupils in the junior school, and to lead Art-related enrichment activities in the junior school. They will also teach some lower school (year 7/8) Art until the expected relocation of the junior school to a brand new campus on The Downs from September 2028. The post-holder will also be expected to teach some Design Technology within the junior school, and this currently sits within the Art curriculum in years 4 and 5.
Qualified teachers, recent graduates, individuals considering a change in career and those returning from a career break are all strongly encouraged to apply. Training for applicants who are brand new to teaching is available, and the school runs its own teacher training programme culminating in QTS.
