We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic full-time teacher of Art from September 2026. The successful candidate will be required to teach up to sixth form level (A level/IB). Recently retired teachers, recent postgraduates and graduates, individuals considering a change in career and those returning from a career break are all strongly encouraged to apply. Training for applicants who are brand new to teaching is available, and the school runs its own teacher training programme culminating in QTS.
Person Specification
- Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine interest in Art as an academic and creative discipline
- An eagerness to inspire and support all pupils to flourish and reach their academic and creative potential
- A desire to enrich the intellectual experience of pupils beyond the exam specifications in lessons and by supporting pupil involvement in challenges, competitions, and societies relating to Art
- Strong pastoral instincts and a commitment to excellent pastoral care and safeguarding for all pupils
- A desire to contribute to the school’s thriving co-curricular programme
- An ability to work well with others
- A personal commitment to ongoing professional development
