We are currently seeking an assistant registrar to join our outstanding admissions department. Assistant registrars each lead an entry point into King’s, as directed by the assistant head (admissions). We anticipate that the successful candidate for this vacancy will take responsibility for the 16+ entry point, providing leadership and operational oversight for girls and boys who wish to join King’s for sixth form.
Since King’s introduced a co-educational sixth form in 2010, the 16+ entry point has gone from strength to strength, and it attracts applications from a wide range of pupils from maintained, independent and overseas schools. We are renowned for being one of the world’s leading schools and our sixth form curriculum, which offers both A levels and the IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme), makes us an extremely popular choice for the two years of sixth form study. Pupils joining King’s in the lower sixth greatly enrich our community and contribute to a welcoming and vibrant environment.
We are seeking to appoint an able and enthusiastic colleague to lead this exciting and fast‑paced entry point, delivering an outstanding admissions experience for prospective pupils and their families, and ensuring every family’s interaction with King’s is welcoming, efficient and inspiring. You may already have a background in senior school admissions and be looking to enhance your experience by joining our successful and friendly admissions team, working alongside the King’s senior management team and departmental academic staff.

- Be a confident, assured communicator, both in written and verbal form
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail

Terms and Conditions
- Start date: 27th August 2026
- Term time, plus 3 additional weeks during school holidays - including 1 week during the October half term
- 40 hours a week
- The admissions cycle means certain times of year are busier than others so hours can be flexible in less busy periods
- Attendance at a small number of weekend and evening events will be required for which time in lieu would be given
