About the role
Reporting to the Senior Video Editor, you will support the Kings Digital production workstream by post‑producing multimedia learning materials for the university’s world‑class online courses. You will manage all aspects of post‑production across a selection of courses, from ingest to final delivery, and advise on best tools and techniques. The role includes podcasts, video, and mixed media projects with E‑Learning Visual Designers.
Responsibilities
- Produce and edit educational videos, podcasts and mixed media content.
- Carry out post‑production tasks from ingest to final delivery.
- Collaborate with other media specialists and visual designers.
- Catalog media assets and maintain workflows.
- Deliver high‑quality content on time and within budget.
- Keep abreast of new tools and techniques to innovate media offerings.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject.
- Proven ability to deliver high‑quality work on time.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience editing educational videos.
- Experience with industry‑standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of workflow, media production processes and post‑production requirements.
- Experience working in a collaborative creative team.
- Experience with task‑management tools and inclusive content production.
Contract & Work Hours
Full‑time position, 35 hours per week, permanent contract. Hybrid working: remote part of the week is available.
