King’s College London is seeking an experienced and motivated Programme Manager to join the newly established King’s Talent team within HR. This role contributes to King’s Strategy 2030 by shaping how we support colleagues to build fulfilling and impactful careers.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Senior Talent Programme Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing inclusive career frameworks and pathways.
  • You will support the design and implementation of programmes, coordinate delivery, ensure good governance, bring together stakeholders from across the university, and create practical tools, resources and solutions that enable meaningful and accessible career development, internal mobility and a high-performance culture.
  • You will also deliver talent and career development, succession planning, organisational development and change initiatives to embed a skills‑focused approach that supports individual aspirations and organisational success.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of designing and embedding career frameworks and supporting skills‑based talent approaches.
  • Experience implementing career development and talent management activities across all layers of an organisation.
  • Knowledge of talent development, succession planning, organisational development and change initiatives.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a large, complex and diverse environment.
  • Experience working in an HR or equivalent team that supports strategic priorities and evolving stakeholder needs.
  • Excellent written, listening and communication skills.
  • Commitment to King’s ethos, values and mission.
  • Experience working within a university or the public sector.
  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent.
