To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Experience of coordinating complex administrative processes within a higher education environment or similarly complex organisation.
- Experience of working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with a wide range of audiences.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively and maintain accuracy.
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment and providing high-quality service to a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and regulations consistently and appropriately.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple operational areas, adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
- Confident and effective user of Office applications including Outlook, Excel, MSWord and SharePoint.
Desirable criteria
- Experience of higher education programme administration.
- Experience of supporting assessment administration processes.
- Experience of timetabling, scheduling or resource planning activities.
- Experience of using student records systems and virtual learning environments.
- Knowledge of the student lifecycle within a higher education setting.
