Important notes: - Candidate must not already hold a doctoral degree. - Meet King's College London's postgraduate English language proficiency requirements. - MSCA Mobility Rule: Open to all nationalities, but applicants must not have lived or worked in the UK for over 12 months in the 36 months prior to recruitment.
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline (UK 2:1 or equivalent)
- Meet all mandatory MSCA mobility rules
- Demonstrable interest in, or experience of, qualitative research methods (e.g. interviews, focus groups, ethnography, policy analysis)
- Interest in the social, ethical and political dimensions of digital health technologies, AI, and/or data-driven medicine
- Strong analytical and organisational skills to apply initiative, manage timelines, and work independently on research challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, given the project's engagement with clinicians, patients, and industry stakeholders across multiple countries
- Willingness to work within an international network and support a positive research culture
Desirable Criteria
- A Master's degree in a social science discipline (e.g. Sociology, Science and Technology Studies, Anthropology, Human Geography, Politics, Social Policy) — or a Master's in another field with a substantial social science, qualitative research, or bioethics component
- Some familiarity with, or willingness to engage with, cardiovascular medicine, clinical environments, or digital twin technologies is desirable but not essential
