The Training and Specialist Team Manager is responsible for planning, delivering, and administering training programs and sessions for the cleaning team, both internally and with external partners. This role works with department heads and management to ensure staff are confident and skilled in their operational roles.
The manager is responsible for ensuring the maintenance of accurate training records and renewals, collaborates with data teams for reporting, and maintains compliance for all mandatory training. Additionally, they will directly manage the PPM/Specialist Cleaning Team, coordinating with operations and stakeholders to provide high-quality service and ensure safe use of equipment and specialty products across the entire King’s estate. This is a full-time position and you will be offered an indefinite term contract.
About you:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
- Essential criteria
- Extensive experience of directly delivering training
- Extensive operational knowledge and experience of Specialist Cleaning methodology
- BICS – Trainer / Assessor experience
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
- Experience in operational management in the cleaning industry
- Excellent planning and coordination skills and use of IT systems to support
- Desirable criteria
- Adaptable and flexible with willingness to work flexibly to meet business needs and be flexible in working location across KCL estate
- Spanish/Portuguese language skills
