Overview
In this role you drive technology-enabled delivery within King’s Education & Students Delivery Team to support Strategy 2030. You lead value-focused initiatives in a SAFe context or transitioning to agile methods, navigating complex technical environments with clarity. You’ll manage stakeholders effectively, remove obstacles, and push teams to deliver outcomes that enhance student and staff experiences. This is a leadership role focused on delivery excellence, risk management, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of initiatives through the SDLC in a complex technical environment
- Manage stakeholders and communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues early to prevent delivery blockers
- Remove obstacles, build momentum, and enable teams to perform at their best
- Provide leadership and ownership with a focus on delivering outcomes for students and staff
- Collaborate with third parties to deliver IT solutions
- Support transition to Agile/SAFe ways of working where applicable
- Ensure delivery governance and quality through risk and issue management
Key requirements
- Education to degree standard and/or equivalent qualifications/experience
- Recognised Project Management Certification or Agile Delivery certification (e.g. Prince2 Practitioner, APMP PMQ, SAFe Certified Scrum Master)
- Experience delivering value with a diverse team
- Experience inspiring and motivating a team and engaging stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise for a diverse stakeholder group
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
