The Department of Mathematics at King’s College London is seeking candidates at all levels of experience with the drive and passion to deliver high quality customer service to support our strategic aims. We are one of five academic departments in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences. All departments have a wide-ranging portfolio of established taught programmes and are highly rated in research activities.

Each department is supported by an experienced professional services team, working in partnership with academic colleagues, as well as faculty and central directorates, to provide high-quality administrative support and to contribute to a positive student and staff experience.

Our Programme Officers support students and academic staff as the first point of contact for queries, whether face-to-face, via phone, or electronic media. The role is responsible for essential work to support the delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and for ensuring that student lifecycle activities run smoothly. With support to develop a working knowledge of regulations and processes, the Programme Officer is a valued and trusted member of a hard-working and friendly team and will have a keen eye for accuracy and detail.

Celebrating diversity and supporting staff is important to us and we offer a range of provision, training opportunities and support – please see our Staff Benefits pages.

The role will be based at the Strand campus, in the heart of Central London. Professional services staff are currently working on a hybrid basis, meaning the role holders will spend part of their working week on campus and the remainder working remotely.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered on an indefinite contract.
