The Department of Mathematics is looking to recruit a full-time Programme Manager who will be responsible for the operational management of the taught programme provision across the department.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to expand their skills while working within a well-established department and an inclusive and supportive team.
The Programme Manager works as part of a team to ensure consistent management and delivery of taught programmes by providing high quality and effective administrative support, in accordance with university and Faculty priorities, timelines and policies. Providing leadership and line management to the Programme Officers and Senior Programme Officers, you will be responsible for allocating staff resource to ensure consistent and effective service delivery. You will lead and enable the team to provide a high level of customer support to relevant stakeholders.
Successful candidates will have a proactive approach to leadership with experience of line management and motivating teams to achieve their best. They will have a good understanding of programme administration in Higher Education, a commitment to continuous improvement and excellent communication skills.
The role is currently hybrid, and the role holder will spend part of their working week on campus and part of the week working remotely. This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract from 1st June 2026 until 31st December 2026, with the possibility of an extension after the initial duration.
