Overview
In this role you lead a forward-looking programme in RNA structural biology and Cryo-EM within the Randall Centre, driving high-impact, interdisciplinary research. You will build an independent, externally funded program and contribute to teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Your work will connect with cross-disciplinary collaborators to tackle fundamental molecular questions and real-world challenges in medicine and diagnostics. This is an opportunity to shape cutting-edge structural biology within a supportive, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead a research programme in RNA structural biology and Cryo-EM
- Establish and secure external funding for an independent research program
- Contribute to high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and mentorship
- Collaborate across departments and with King’s core infrastructure and external partners
- Develop and promote interdisciplinary, boundary-breaking research approaches
- Utilize and contribute to shared structural biology facilities, including CryoEM
