The Programme Officer will provide operational and administrative support across LIHE’s innovation and venture programmes, supporting the delivery of activities involving startups, clinicians, academics, industry and external partners.
Working closely with Programme Leads and the wider LIHE team, the postholder will support the coordination of workshops, meetings, events, communications and participant engagement activities, ensuring a professional, responsive and high-quality programme experience. The role will contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of programmes and support effective operational delivery across a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The role will have a particular focus on supporting international and hybrid programme delivery, including coordination of online sessions, participant communications and activities involving international stakeholders and delegations. This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract for three years.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing individual responsibilities
- Ability to use initiative to resolve routine operational issues and identify when escalation is required
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications and online collaboration tools such as Slack
- Experience supporting administrative, operational or programme coordination activities
- Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience working in higher education, innovation, healthcare or startup environments
- Experience supporting events, workshops or hybrid programme delivery
- Experience coordinating activities involving external stakeholders or international participants
- Interest in healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship or MedTech
