The appointment will run from 1 September 2025 – 31 August 2026. The interviews for the post will take place on Tuesday 24 June 2025. About Us The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Latin American Cultural Studies and Spanish Language for a fixed-term period of twelve months. The appointment will run from 1 September 2025 – 31 August 2026. The interviews for the post will take place on Tuesday 24 June 2025. About The Role The role comprises teaching, administration, and research. The successful candidate will be expected to teach on a range of modules such as the first-year introductory module Global Iberias; second-year modules on visual culture and language; Spanish language teaching; and MA teaching, including on the online MA in Global Cultures. They will be expected to provide high-quality teaching on these modules and to complete assessment and marking. They will also be expected to fulfil a departmental administrative role and pursue their own research projects. This is a full-time post, and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 31 August 2026.
