About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience :
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in strategic communications and engagement within complex organisations.
- Strong event planning and delivery skills, including experience managing high-profile events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate presentations and technical reports to a wide audience, including non-specialist ones.
- Experience of creating different types of content for wide ranging audiences, e.g. website copy, video, reports, articles.
- Experience using website content management systems to publish, edit and maintain digital content e.g., Contensis.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse communities and a developed sense of cultural competency and emotional intelligence.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to deliver outcomes on time and to budget.
Desirable Criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in developing impact communication and strategies.
- Understanding of impact and knowledge exchange in its widest context and appreciation of the different ways in which universities can contribute to society, the economy and the environment.
