The Clinical Research Fellow in Cardiac MRI will undertake clinical and research activities focused on advanced cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging under the supervision of the Head of Cardiovascular Imaging within the Department of Cardiovascular Imaging, School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences, Kings College London. This post is suitable for Specialty Trainees in Cardiology who intend to specialise in the cardiac imaging sub‑specialty, or for those who have already commenced training in general cardiology and wish to gain additional sub‑specialty experience in Cardiac MRI (CMR) through an Out‑of‑Programme Experience (OOPE) from their current training programme.

The ideal candidate will be seeking dedicated sub‑specialty training in CMR imaging to support progression in their clinical career. Alternatively, the post would also suit candidates wishing to undertake a year of clinical research experience, providing an opportunity to develop academic interests, prepare grant applications, and apply for further fellowships that may lead to ongoing academic and research work.

Ensures they are working in a safe environment, complying with policies and regulations, ensuring confidentiality and only releasing confidential information obtained during the course of employment to those acting in an official capacity. Complies with Kings protocols on the appropriate use of telephone, email and internet facilities.
