The Global Student Recruitment and Admissions directorate delivers marketing, student recruitment and admissions services in partnership with Faculties, creating strategies to attract growing numbers of students from across global markets, as well as from the UK. As a directorate we are responsible for the delivery of student recruitment targets, ensuring cohesive recruitment strategies and planning from lead generation and attraction, via admissions, through to conversion and enrolment.
About The Role
The Faculty Marketing team is the face of the Global Student Recruitment and Admissions team with internal stakeholders. This team plays a critical role in providing expertise and student recruitment and marketing support to our faculties. The Faculty Marketing Officer will support the Head of Faculty Marketing in delivering marketing strategies and plans for faculties. The role will use in-depth knowledge of their faculty/faculties targets and priorities to contribute to the development of marketing plans which support attraction of prospective students and enhance conversion numbers. The role will work collaboratively across the Global Student Recruitment and Admissions team to ensure the delivery of marketing plans and campaigns to achieve faculty student recruitment targets. This is a full time post and will be offered on an indefinite contract.
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
- Essential Criteria
- Educated to degree level and/or experience in marketing
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable ability to form and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment and meet challenging deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent IT skills to support campaign delivery e.g., MS Office suite, SharePoint, and MS Teams, PowerBI, presentation software and marketing tools.
- Able to work on own initiative, able to identify and resolve issues promptly and/or escalating where required.
- Experience working within the Higher Education sector.
