Overview
The post will be based at King’s College Hospital Denmark Hill site and will have the opportunity to provide dental treatment at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup.
Responsibilities
Key duties include:
- Provision of a first‑class clinical service.
- Effective leadership of all staff engaged in the specialty.
- Development and sustaining of teaching and research in conjunction with King’s College London.
- Upholding all Trust procedures and operating policies.
- Conducting clinical practice in line with contractual requirements and within the parameters of the Trust’s service plans.
- Maintaining confidence in business plans and development strategies for the specialty, Care Group or Trust.
- Direct clinical care including IV sedation and general anaesthesia.
- New patient assessment clinics.
- Safeguarding responsibilities.
- Research and job planning.
- Support of research initiatives.
- Clinical governance duties.
