We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced full time Band 6 Specialist Nurse in Sexual and Reproductive Health to join our team at King's Sexual Health, based at Camberwell Sexual Health Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, autonomous care to a diverse patient population while contributing to a progressive and supportive clinical environment.

You will provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment of STIs, and delivery of contraceptive services, including implant provision. The role also involves undertaking specialist procedures, supporting safeguarding responsibilities, contributing to audit and research, and acting as a clinical role model within the multidisciplinary team to drive service development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide autonomous nursing care to meet the sexual health and contraceptive needs of the patient population, including assessment, investigation, diagnosis and treatment for the individual patient group.
  • Provide professional and clinical leadership within the nursing team.
  • Support the role of the Senior Charge Nurse and Nurse Practitioners in the implementation of a strategic development plan for nursing and nurse-led services within the department.
  • Act as a resource for nursing education and clinical development within the service.
  • Be actively involved and supportive of Senior Nursing staff in the development and implementation of a programme of nursing audit and research within the department.
