The NHS Medical & Dental: Senior Clinical Fellow position is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with a contract duration of 12 months. The salary ranges from £73,992 to £90,322 per annum plus a London allowance.
King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s largest teaching Trusts, providing a full range of local hospital services and specialist services from King’s College Hospital sites. The Liver Intensive Care Unit (LITU) has a total bed pool of 19, including a dedicated area for level 2 patients and expanded ward services for 58 patients with liver disease.
Main duties include:
- Involvement in fixed clinical commitments based on clinical training needs and service requirements.
- Participation in the on-call rota on a flexible basis.
- Engagement in non-clinical, management, and research aspects of the post.
The Trust is recognised internationally for its work in liver disease and transplantation, neurosciences, cardiac, haemato-oncology, fetal medicine, stroke, major trauma, and Emergency Department.
Requirements:
- Full registration with the GMC and a Licence to Practice.
- Proven experience within critical care or related specialties.
- Evidence of special commitment to critical care and demonstrable research and teaching experience.
- Experience of working within the NHS.
Personal skills required include effective communication, teamwork, and familiarity with information technology.
