Overview
The MRI department at Kings College Hospital is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Radiographer to join our team. We undertake a wide array of sub-specialist scanning including Musculoskeletal, Hepatobiliary, Cardiac, Vascular and Paediatric imaging. The department has 6 Siemens scanners.
Responsibilities
- To perform a wide range of scans, working autonomously to utilise department protocols and undertake MRI procedures of the highest quality.
- To ensure a high standard of patient care, and participate in the monitoring of standards.
- To ensure that any person entering the MRI scanner is appropriately safety checked in accordance with departmental policy and act as patient and staff advocate in MR safety issues.
- The post holder is required to have excellent clinical communication and interpersonal skills and will need to be able to communicate effectively with service stakeholders within the service.
- Ensure patient safety is maintained and patient experience is positive by treating all patients, relatives and colleagues with kindness and respect.
