We are looking for enthusiastic nurses to join our fantastic Neonatal Team which recently expanded. Princess Royal University Hospital Local Neonatal Unit is a Level 2 Neonatal Unit that provides special care, high-dependency and short-term intensive care within a wide range of specialist Neonatal Medical and Nursing teams as well as Allied Health Professionals. The post holder will be responsible for assessment of care needs of neonatal patients, planning programmes of care, implementation and evaluation of these programmes without direct supervision. The post holder is expected to uphold Family Integrated Care and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and most especially the family.

Responsibilities

  • To deliver high quality, evidence-based and patient focused clinical care.
  • To work effectively as part of the immediate team and wider multi-disciplinary team (MDT).
  • To uphold a duty of care and clinical governance.
  • To maintain own and others' knowledge of clinical excellence.
  • To be a safe and effective practitioner able to provide high quality neonatal care to babies while supporting the family.
