Summary

Together with the others to provide Maternity & gynaecology services for women attending Kings College Hospital. This includes all aspects of treatment and relevant management duties required for the proper functioning of the department. Shared responsibility with the others for providing 24 hour, 7 day a week cover for the obstetrics & gynaecology on an on-call rota basis. Responsible also for covering colleagues' periods of annual leave and short-term sickness/absence. To contribute to departmental audit programme in accordance with the Trusts R&D framework. To be aware of, and comply with, all Trust infection prevention and control policies, to include hand hygiene, personal hygiene, environmental and food hygiene. To undertake annual training/updates in infection prevention and control.
