Job Description
A renowned private medical eye clinic is seeking to recruit an Ophthalmic Technician to expand its team and meet current demand. This Ophthalmic Technician position is a 6-month contract with a salary of up to £27,000.
The Ophthalmic Technician will conduct pre- and post-operative ophthalmic tests for patients and assist with surgical and administrative duties within the nursing team. Full training will be provided; however, a genuine interest in medicine and eye care is required.
Located in the beautiful offices on Harley Street, this role offers a salary of up to £27,000 plus benefits, including 28 days of holiday. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles. While previous experience in the ophthalmic sector is advantageous, it is not required.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts from 08:00 to 16:30, 08:30 to 17:00, 09:00 to 17:30, or 09:30 to 18:00.
This Ophthalmic Technician role starts as a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extending to a full-time position at the end of the contract period.
