King\’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has over 300 therapy staff, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech and language therapists. Role Overview

Working as a Band 3 Occupational Therapy Assistant at King\’s College Hospital, Denmark Hill site, within the Medical Team, offers excellent opportunities for professional development and clinical skills acquisition. The successful candidate will support therapists in providing acute rehabilitation and complex discharge planning by undertaking delegated interventions with patients and administrative duties to support the department\’s functioning. You will assist occupational therapists with tasks related to rehabilitation and discharge planning, and complete administrative and clerical tasks to ensure smooth service operation, meet legal requirements, and facilitate timely discharges.

  • Good computer literacy.
  • Ability to manage your own time and be flexible.
  • Willingness to engage in training and assist in manual handling of patients.
