About the Role
The Lead Specialist for the Maternity Ultrasound Service at King's College Hospital will act as a clinical expert, lead teaching and team activities, and manage the provision of high-quality ultrasound service and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as clinical expert in the maternity ultrasound service.
- Take an active role in teaching and leading the ultrasound team.
- Responsibly manage the provision of high-quality ultrasound service and patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.
- Proactively contribute to the successful performance of the trust and to the national screening programme, including Down’s syndrome screening quality assurance support service (DQASS).
- Ensure adequate service provision at all times and plan the ultrasound service to meet the demands of the maternity department.
