An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning Manager at King\’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, supporting the Head of Financial Strategy and Planning.
The role involves developing an effective Trust-wide financial planning process and working with senior finance colleagues to provide high-quality, professional financial support to meet the needs of the Trust.
The post holder will exercise intense concentration and sustained mental effort to analyze, understand, and convey complex financial information. They will prioritize workloads according to stakeholder demands and deadlines, and make decisions on complex financial situations, supporting the Trust\’s capital programme.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the financial planning activities such as the Annual Planning Review, long-term planning, monthly returns, and forecasts.
- Modeling long-term planning assumptions to keep the Trust\’s financial strategy current.
- Reviewing business cases and managing governance of the Trust\’s investment Board.
- Producing accurate financial performance and recovery reports for internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate must have a recognized CCAB or equivalent qualification, significant experience in senior finance roles, and a commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
