The Endoscopy Patient Administrator will ensure smooth day‑to‑day running and booking process of the busy Endoscopy Unit at King's College Hospital, Denmark Hill site. This full‑time position requires strong customer service skills, appointment booking experience and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain smooth day‑to‑day running and booking process for the Endoscopy Unit.
- Work closely with administrative and clinical colleagues to ensure tasks follow agreed protocols and are completed to high standard.
- Understand all aspects of the administration service and rotate between different administration tasks.
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients on the phone or at reception.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary trust staff and external organisations.
Requirements
- Full‑time availability with a flexible 7‑day working pattern.
- Track record of excellent customer service and appointment booking.
- Experience in reception or clerical processes within an operational service environment.
- Proactive and effective interpersonal skills.
- Team player with the ability to prioritize independent work.
