Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research into the immunomodulatory effects and therapeutic mechanisms of MSCs in biliary atresia models.
- Employ a range of cellular and molecular techniques, including flow cytometry, ELISA, and advanced microscopy.
- Collaborate closely with other researchers within the Hepatocyte Biology and Transplantation Group and with clinical partners.
- Present work at weekly research meetings and contribute to publications, grant applications, and conference presentations.
- Support junior researchers and students, providing scientific advice and training where appropriate.
- Participate in GMP‑compliant cell isolation and processing where required.
- Engage with the broader scientific and clinical community through lectures, seminars, and journal clubs.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of personal information relating to patients and staff.
- Support infection control and hygiene procedures in clinical areas.
- Attend mandatory safeguarding training and follow Trust’s reporting procedures.
