Junior Sister - Thomas Cook Children\'s Critical Care in City of Westminster

To provide expert, holistic care of a high standard to both the patients and their relatives within the King’s College Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert clinical care of critically ill children to provide high standard care to patients and their relatives.
• Share your knowledge, experience and skills, acting as a positive role model to junior staff members.
• Develop your managerial skills and actively contribute to a dynamic, team‑focused environment.
• Demonstrate self‑motivation, teach junior staff and work well in a team.
• Commit to delivering high‑quality holistic care, partnering with children and their families and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse with significant experience working within a paediatric critical care or HDU setting.
• Relevant HDU course undertaken (preferred).
• Adult qualified nurses with critical care experience or paediatric experience will also be considered.
