Are you a self-motivated individual who is looking to expand your experience as a senior pharmacy technician in operational setting? As an Advanced Pharmacy Technician in Homecare, the post holder will support the delivery, oversight, and continual improvement of the Trust\’s homecare medicines service. Working under the Chief Homecare Technician, they will ensure medicines are supplied safely and efficiently to patients via external homecare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing administrative processes
- Monitoring provider performance
- Supporting financial reconciliation
- Resolving service issues
- Ensuring compliance with national homecare standards
- Leading audits
- Gathering KPI data
- Contributing to service development
- Implementing new homecare pathways
Line Management & Staff Development
- Line management of homecare technical and administrative staff
- Supporting recruitment, training, inductions, appraisals, and performance management
- Acting as a point of contact for clinical teams, finance, providers, and patients, ensuring excellent communication and problem solving
Additional Responsibilities
- Providing operational support to inpatient pharmacy services
- Deputising for the Chief Homecare Technician when required
