Front of House Receptionist – Manchester (Vacancy)
We are currently looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our Front of House team in Manchester.
The team are the first point of contact for our clients both in person and on the telephone so the successful candidate will need to be both professional and approachable.

This role is based on site and can be offered on a full time or part time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Providing a helpful and efficient reception desk
- Meeting and greeting clients / visitors
- Answering and transferring telephone calls via a PC based VoIP switchboard system and taking messages where appropriate
- Set up of conference calls and video conferencing using all available remote meeting platforms (MS Teams / Zoom etc)
- To sign for and distribute briefs to Clerks
- Organisation of daily conference facilities and supplies
- Planning of daily conferences rooms through LEX diary system
- Organising any conference catering / refreshment requirements
- Liaising with maintenance and cleaning companies / callouts
- Ad-hoc clerical duties
Qualities Required
- Proficient IT knowledge including use of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C minimum or equivalent)
- Previous work experience in a professional services environment desired
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels and to create and maintain good working relationships.
- Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Capacity to thrive in a small team environment and be a team player who gets on well with colleagues
- Willingness to represent Kings Chambers in the best possible light at all times
