As an NPLQ or NRASTC qualified lifeguard, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of swimming sessions to mixed ability groups of children aged between 5 and 17. Lifeguards have a high level of responsibility and require a valid NPLQ qualification, attention to detail, and the ability to respond appropriately to the pool environment. Swim sessions typically last between 30 – 45 minutes. Session times and pool availability will vary, but we typically run sessions between 9.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. This role can also be accompanied with the Multi Sports Coach role if you’re looking for more hours around swim sessions.

Working hours: Flexible between 9:30am-3:30pm Monday- Friday. Exact working hours also dependent upon the availability of the pool and the numbers of children attending.Person Specification (Ideal, but with some flexibility)
