Camp Managers are our on-site representatives responsible for delivering a safe, high-quality, Kings Camps experience for children aged 5 to 17 during school holidays. Reporting to the Regional Manager, they lead coaching staff and act as the first point of contact for children, parents and the host venue. Camp Managers serve as on-site safeguarding representatives and collaborate with the Head Office Team for support and escalation. They implement policies consistently, communicate openly, mitigate risk promptly, and set the standard for team preparation, timetabling and performance development. They also shape the tone and culture of the camp, engaging children with energy, fun and enthusiasm while exemplifying the Kings Factor.

Candidate Availability

We are ideally looking for candidates to be available for the full season (Mon-Fri, between 8am and 5.30pm), with the exception of summer, where we ask for a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks.

Working Hours

Working hours: Between Monday and Friday, 8am-5:30pm; hours vary depending on the ages and numbers of children attending.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience working with children aged 5-17.
  • At least 12 months of experience in a management or leadership role in childcare, sports or teaching, or a related qualification.
  • Paediatric First Aid trained (or willing to train).
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Knowledge and experience of Child Protection, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate.
  • Safeguarding experience and understanding.
