Sports Staff are responsible for delivering an amazing Sports programme experience for guests on Royal Caribbean ships. You’ll be part of an energetic and dynamic team providing opportunities to take part in some of the most thrilling recreational activities on the high seas!
You will lead and participate in a variety of Sports and Cruise Programme activities such as rock climbing, iFly, Flowrider, basketball and ping-pong, facilitating active sports sessions. You’ll also hold safety and customer service responsibilities, overseeing the operation of outdoor recreational activities as well as engaging guests in fun and dynamic themed parties.
Experience- 1-2 years’ of physical fitness and/or sports coaching experience in resorts or sports facilities
- Experience leading recreational sports and activities for large groups and individuals
- Experience delivering exceptional customer service to customers/clients/guests
- Master of Ceremonies experience or childcare experience preferred
- Knowledge of the rules of sports like basketball, volleyball, golf, pickleball, ping-pong, shuffleboard, etc.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of the Flowrider or other similar water park equipment preferred
- Experience in rock climbing wall instruction
- Sports/Fitness/Health Education Degree or Diploma
- Accredited CPR or first aid qualifications
- Fluency in one of the following languages would be desirable: Italian, German or Spanish.
- Digital skills and experience using software packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
