Part Time role in Practice - Senior Accountant. As our practice continues to grow we are seeking a qualified accountant with Practice Experience to work alongside the Director with preparing and reviewing Statutory Accounts, Self Assessment Tax Returns, Corporation Tax, Payrolls and VAT Returns for a wide variety of clients.
The role would suit someone looking to achieve a good work-life balance in a relaxed friendly environment with a small local team. Hours worked can be part time and flexible to suit the applicant with the possibility of hybrid working. Although the applicant must be able to spend at least part of their time working in our Ross on Wye based office so would suit someone local to Herefordshire / Gloucestershire / Monmouthshire.
Requires:
- ACCA, ACA or AAT qualified - at least 3 years experience in a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge and experience of using Excel and cloud based accounting software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to review the work of other staff and provide guidance where required.
- Confidence to support clients by email, telephone and in person.
