The Role
As a Teacher of Science, you will
- Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons that inspire a love of learning.
- Plan and deliver a broad, ambitious curriculum that enables every student to succeed.
- Use assessment effectively to maximise progress and achievement.
- Create a positive, inclusive and respectful classroom environment where every student feels valued.
- Support students of all abilities, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated Science department and contribute to the wider life of the academy.
We are looking for someone who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
- Has excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Science.
- Has high expectations of themselves and their students.
- Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
- Is reflective, enthusiastic and committed to continuous professional development.
- Shares our values of honesty, faith and courage, placing young people at the heart of everything they do.
