Due to the continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager in Bristol. This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve liaising daily with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
- Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
- Ensure on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE etc.
- On-site coordination of plant hire, tools, and labour.
- Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors.
- Update appropriate information to progress report.
- Maintain K&M Document Management System.
- Communicate changes to the Project team.
- Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Relevant trade qualifications in or further education qualification mechanical building services.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Previous experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar role.
- Project Management experience beneficial.
- Computer literate with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to do some travel if/when required.
