As a Product Quality Manager in our Kitchen category you will ensure the development and manufacture of safe and compliant products that meet our customers' expectations in terms of quality, cost and performance.

Overview

As Product Quality Manager you will support the development and manufacturing of kitchen category products, ensuring quality, safety, performance and compliance while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the offering and product development teams to proactively support range reviews and product development for the Kitchen Category, ensuring that quality is a key part of the process.
  • Perform product benchmarking to develop product specifications.
  • Review design specifications and samples to evaluate products, address construction, safety, performance, and compliance issues.
  • Work with suppliers and purchasing offices to ensure that product production is feasible.
  • Ensure that products will meet the required performance and durability standards offered under the warranty whilst developing precautionary statements on the packaging and product instruction manuals, as appropriate.
  • Work with the Performance Feedback Analyst to actively monitor post‑sales performance.
  • Analyse customer feedback to identify appropriate actions to improve product quality, reduce returns and customer dissatisfaction and incorporate these changes into new developments.
  • Visit factories as appropriate to develop knowledge and understanding of production processes and support product development, including occasional trips to France.
  • Support the vendor evaluation process.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a product/component area (ideally in kitchen/furniture).
  • Knowledge and working understanding of compliance requirements for the product/component area.
  • Knowledge of relevant product materials and substrates.
  • Previous experience in a product technology role or manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience working with overseas production sites/sourcing operations.
  • Previous experience in a retail environment.
