We are looking for a Network Design Engineer to join us, to take responsibility for providing the network solutions that underpin all the applications and services across Kingfisher and our banners, ensuring service excellence in our stores and online.

We are looking for a Network Design Engineer to join us, to take responsibility for providing the network solutions that underpin all the applications and services across Kingfisher and our banners, ensuring service excellence in our stores and online.
This role is based at our B&Q head office just outside Southampton, with the expectation of 3 days a week in the office and travel to other sites across the UK/Europe as required.
- Delivering network stability and availability and participating in the design, support and delivery of projects.
- Designing, testing and implementing SD-WAN/WAN/LAN/WiFi/Security solutions within head offices, stores, distribution centres, datacentres and network connectivity into the cloud.
- Contributing to the development of the network roadmap, strategy and standards, which includes the assessment of vendor solutions and new innovations.
- Keeping abreast of third-party services, telecoms industry benchmarks and trends, in order to identify opportunities for development of our platforms, focusing on simplification and cost reduction.

Save with the option to buy Kingfisher plc shares at the end of a 3 or 5 year period. Offered annually. Three months service is required at the annual invitation date, normally in October.
