This is an exciting role that will allow you to bring your Finance experience to a very commercial environment at the heart of our Offer & Sourcing operation. A truly fantastic opportunity to lead an international finance team in a multinational plc retailer!

The Head of Finance, O&S Sourcing is responsible for leading the O&S Sourcing Finance teams, ensuring the operational delivery of all Commercial Finance, Accounting and Reporting, and financial control requirements across the O&S Sourcing Finance organisation. Outputs will be used to inform and support decision making across multiple stakeholders including the Sourcing Board, O&S Board, Banners and Group Finance Teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the O&S Sourcing Finance team, fostering high engagement.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships, including with the Sourcing Board.
  • Deliver insightful commercial reporting, highlighting performance drivers and future risks/opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely management and statutory reporting.
  • Uphold strong financial controls and governance across the Sourcing Finance function.
  • Monitor financial risks, ensuring early identification and effective mitigation.
  • Champion continuous improvement and contribute to both finance and commercial sourcing initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to work effectively across cultural and language boundaries.
  • Solid technical accounting expertise.
  • Experience in strategic business partnering.
  • Skilled in planning and forecasting within complex environments.
  • Builds trusted relationships while confidently challenging and influencing decisions.
  • Experienced in navigating matrix organizational structures.
