The successful candidate will be employed as part of an install team of 2 engineers. Kingfisher Lighting are looking for a proactive individual to join our install team, someone with previous industry experience is preferred along with experience working on commercial 3 phase circuits. The engineer’s responsibility is to attend site and install various high mast and sports lighting systems across the UK. Note that the role does require engineers to work away Monday to Friday. Benefits Employee discounts Investment in training and progression Financial planning services Health & wellbeing programme Life insurance Profit sharing Sick pay Responsibilities Equipment Installation – Set up and install various high mast and sports lighting systems at client sites according to specifications and industry standards System Testing and Calibration – Conduct initial testing and adjustments to ensure equipment functions correctly and meets performance requirements Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution – Diagnose issues during and after installation, providing immediate fixes or recommending solutions Documentation and Reporting – Maintain detailed reports of installations, including any adjustments made and any issues encountered Compliance and Safety – Follow safety protocols, industry regulations and company policies to ensure safe and compliant installations Skills and Experience Good team working skills as well as ability to work on own initiative Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external contacts at all levels Ability to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise whilst working on site Ability to work at height Experience of installing lighting masts and luminaire Experience of 3 phase and commercial circuits Good literacy skills for the completion of site reports IPAF Electrical Qualification – 18TH edition minimum Previous experience installing sports and high mast lighting Fault finding A solid Electrical engineering background in the lighting or commercial industry Qualifications Electrical background preferably within the lighting or commercial industry sector 18th Edition ECS card Additional – *Training will be given if necessary HERS IPAF City and Guilds
