Key Responsibilities: Manage and retain approximately 500 independent Indian Restaurants and some Multi-site restaurant groups. Negotiate effectively with customers to ensure optimum profile and return (new listings, customer activation, promotional support). Report to and liaise on a regular basis with the BCC FSTL. KPIs focused on distribution, volume and brand-building opportunities. Ability to develop own gap plans to deliver success. True ability to manage and develop relationships across our customer base. Brand priority of Kingfisher whilst leveraging wider portfolio of Peacock Cider, Bombay Bicycle IPA and 5 Walla. The successful candidate will be expected to work a minimum of 4 evenings per week as this is when your customers operate. Key Criteria: Background exposure to working with premium drinks and selling premium brands within the UK On Trade – 18 months minimum experience. Demonstrable evidence of good gravitas, passion, drive, creativity and commercial organisation skills. Understand the importance of working with and influencing 3 rd party wholesalers. Strong negotiation, organisation and influencing skills to drive commercial success. Track record of developing brands and delivering tangible success via a definite structured sales process. IT and PC literate – Microsoft / CRM systems. Passionate about beer and food within the restaurant sector. Sound dispenses technical knowledge and understanding. Experience in this channel would be beneficial but not critical. Hindi or equivalent language skills would be an advantage but in no way a necessity. Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK. Ideally, the individual will have experience of the On Trade, ideally beer and specifically Restaurants. The role services London but not exclusively. You will ideally live on patch and have the responsibility to retain, develop and grow our brands within this area. The role will report into the BCC Field sales team leader (BCC FSTL) who will encourage you to think and act like an owner and you will be empowered to think strategically to grow our footprint rapidly.
