Key relationships: Production manager, Senior Joinery manager & Joinery Director, Joiners, Senior Joiners and apprentices Director
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Role Purpose: To fabricate bespoke joinery items ranging from but not limited to, windows, doors, stairs, and cabinetry all from drawings supplied.
Areas of Responsibility/Duties:
- To fabricate bespoke joinery using skill and experience gained previously.
- To work in accordance with Joinery managers.
- Know, understand, and observe specific rules with regard to health and safety, FSC and ISO quality assurance.
- Work in a safe manner, so as not to cause hazards to oneself or others.
- To machine components and assemble items as necessary as per the drawing and specifications supplied.
- Use of hand tools, portable power tools and woodworking machinery.
- Going out on site – site installation and possible site surveys to assist production manager.
- Demonstrates commitment to the continued improvement of Kingerlee’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance.
- Prioritises health and safety in every situation.
