An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Adams Morey as a
Service Receptionist at our Redbridge dealership.
The Service Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers visiting or contacting the service department.
The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, managing bookings, and supporting the smooth day-to‑day operation of the service reception.
- Salary: £29,500 to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Hours: Alternating weeks, i. e. average of 44.5 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).
- Week 1, Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.30 pm
- Week 2, Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 5.00 pm
- Every other Saturday, 8.00 am to 12.00 pm
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers professionally and provide a friendly, efficient front‑of‑house service.
- Answer incoming calls and emails, handling enquiries or directing them appropriately.
- Book service, MOT, and repair appointments accurately.
- Update and maintain customer and vehicle records on the dealership system.
- Liaise with service advisors, technicians, and parts staff to ensure effective communication.
- Manage vehicle keys and documentation securely.
- Process payments and invoices where required.
- Maintain a clean, organised reception area.
- Adhere to company procedures, health and safety policies, and data protection regulations.
- Ideal Candidate
- Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred (automotive experience desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident using computer systems and telephone equipment.
- Well‑organised with good attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
