Adams Morey is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Parts Apprentice to join our team in Newton Abbot. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career within the motor industry, gaining hands-on experience while working towards recognised qualifications. As a Parts Apprentice, you will learn all aspects of the parts department, supporting the smooth running of the business while developing your technical knowledge and customer service skills. You’ll work alongside experienced team members and receive structured training to help you grow within the role.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting with the identification, ordering, and supply of vehicle parts.
- Supporting stock control and inventory management.
- Handling customer enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Learning about parts systems, logistics, and supplier relationships.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
You will receive comprehensive training across all areas of the parts business, including:
- In-house training with experienced team members.
- Manufacturer training through DAF.
- Structured learning delivered by Skillnet.
- Expected to have achieved GCSE grades 4–9 (or C–A*), though we are open to the right candidate with a positive attitude.
- Strong interest in the automotive industry.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
