We are looking for an organised and proactive Service Administrator to join our team in Eastleigh. This is a key role supporting the service department, ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently, records are accurate, and customers receive a high level of service. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling service engineers and coordinating daily workloads.
- Handling incoming calls and emails from customers and suppliers.
- Preparing job cards, service reports, estimates, and related documentation.
- Maintaining accurate service records and databases.
- Raising purchase orders, preparing invoices, and processing invoicing activities.
- Liaising with engineers, customers, and internal departments.
- Supporting the Service Manager with general administration duties.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in an administrative or service support role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- Customer-focused with a professional and friendly manner.
